By the Congress entrance you will find a standard ATM on the outside and a standard ATM in the congress foyer (both Nordea Bank).
There are many banks in and around Copenhagen for all your financial requirements. Most banks are open Monday to Friday between 09.30 and 16.00 but are closed on weekends. Banks in airports and train stations sometimes have other opening hours.
You will find the Post Office at the grocer's shop in the shopping arcade. The Post Office is open Mon/Wednes/Friday from 10:00 - 16:00. Tues/Thursday from 10.00 - 18.00.
in case of force majeure, the MedInfo 2013 Congress has the right to alter or cancel the Congress without prior notice, however a notice of the occurrence shall be given by MedInfo 2013 Congress as soon as reasonably possible. Force majeure shall mean any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the MedInfo 2013 Congress which prevents or impedes the holding of the Congress, including, but not limited to, government action, war or hostilities, riot or civil commotion, plague or other epidemic such as SARS, bird flu, etc, earthquake, flood, hurricane, cyclone, fire or other natural physical disaster, explosion, accident or breakdown, strike, lack of the usual means of transportation or terrorism. The MedInfo 2013 Congress shall not be liable for any direct or indirect, incidental or consequential damages, losses, expenditures or any other inconveniences or costs caused by such modification or cancellation of the Congress. Furthermore, registration fees will not be reimbursed by the MedInfo 2013 Congress.
The climate in Copenhagen is temperate and in August it is usually mild and sunny, but you should prepare for rain and chilly evenings. Dress code is informal for the congress as well as the social events.

The currency in Denmark is Danish Kroner (DKK). One Krone is divided into 100 Øre. For current exchange rates, please consult with i.e. http://www.oanda.com/currency/converter/
ATMs/cash machines are available throughout Copenhagen. All major credit cards are accepted at hotels, stores, cafes and restaurants with pin codes. Some places might charge a fee when accepting foreign credit cards as payment.
The MedInfo Congress and Congrex Sweden AB cannot accept liability for injuries or losses of whatever nature incurred by participants and/or accompanying persons, nor for loss of or damage to their luggage and/or personal belongings.
Please check the validity of your travel insurance. All reasonable endeavours will be made to hold the MedInfo 2013 Congress and to present its programme as scheduled under circumstances which assure the comfort and safety of all participants and accompanying persons. However, neither the MedInfo 2013 nor its committees, representatives or agents, shall be held liable by any person as a result of the cancellation of the MedInfo 2013 Congress or of any of the arrangements, programmes or plans connected therewith, or for any injury, damage or inconvenience which may be suffered by any person while travelling to or from, or during such person’s presence in Switzerland in connection with this Congress. Participants and accompanying persons are advised to purchase their own insurance against any such occurrences.
The electrical current in Copenhagen is 220 volts, alternating at 50 cycles per second. Current (AC); wall outlet take Continental-type plugs, with two round prongs. If you travel to Copenhagen with a device that does not accept 220 Volts at 50 Hertz, you will need a voltage converter.
In case of an emergency while you are in Copenhagen, always dial 112. It is a free call which will connect you to the police, fire brigade or hospital. If you need a chemist or dentist, there are a few which are open 24 hours
Danish prices include 25 percent Value Added Tax, (VAT). It may be partly or fully refundable on merchandise to non-EU residents and participants who are travelling to a non-EU destination directly from Denmark with no stop in an EU destination. Tax free shopping is possible in many major shops and department stores in Copenhagen.
For the registration fees, hotel and transportation no refund is possible.
For those companies within the European Union that provide us with their VAT number, we will not apply VAT to your invoice as this will be subject to reversed charge. For companies outside European Union, VAT charges do not apply.
Participants are advised to make their own arrangements with respect to entering Copenhagen.
Individuals requiring an official letter of invitation in order to obtain a visa and authorisation to attend the Congress may complete this Letter of Invitation with the required information.
The Letter of Invitation should be considered as an official invitation to facilitate the processing of visas and/or documents needed for single entry to be able to attend the Congress. All delgates are responsible for the payment of all fees and expenses related to your participation at the Congress and Visa application, as well as any necessary insurance for health and travel. This invitation does NOT include any financial aid such as waived fee, financial support or accommodation. Any misuse of the document will be subject to legal action.
Please apply for the visa within reasonable time (application must be made at the earliest 3 months before planned departure).

The official language of the Congress is English. No simultaneous interpretation will be provided.
Local time in Denmark follows Central European Time (CET) which is one hour ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and six hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time (EST).
Coffee, tea, fresh water and lunch is included in the registration fee and will be served daily. All coffee/tea/lunch breaks will be served within the exhibition hall at the Bella Center.
Participants are advised to make their own arrangements with respect to entering Copenhagen.
